InfoSmart’s distributor, Upgrade, in Austria just inform us
that InfoSmart competed so many brands and got chosen by the
Austria official Organizer for providing INS800 as the LAN
connection for Bill Gate’s Press Conference in Austria.
INS800 is 8 port Switch providing 10/100Mbps and Full Duplex
for each port. The max. Bandwidth for this unit is 1600Mbps.
INS800 provide Auto Cross on each port. INS800 complies with
IEEE802.3u, 100BASE-TX, and IEEE802.3, 10BASE-T standards.
The 10/100BASE-TX ports on the INS800 features built-in "N-Way
Auto-Negotiation" function. With Auto-Negotiation function,
the optimum connection mode (Full-Duplex or Half-Duplex)
will be selected, and also the optimum connection speed
(100Mbps or 10Mbps) will be automatically determined. INS800
provides a brand new function for uplink. The Auto Uplink (Auto
MDI/MDI-X) function is designed on all 8 Switching ports of
INS800. With Auto Uplink, user can connect to PC and cascade
to another switch/hub by using either straight-through or
crossover cable. INS800 will automatically detect the type
of cable and link the connection. 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet
